Biography

Klaus Kuchling studied organ with Peter Planyavsky and Alfred Mitterhofer in Vienna. Since 1999 he has held teaching positions at the Carinthian Regional Conservatory and at Vienna’s Music University. Since 1992 he has held the position of organist and director of music of Klagenfurt cathedral. He is a widely travelled recitalist and recording artist, who frequently performs in partnership with other musical entities, as chamber musician and soloist. He is also well-known as a choral and orchestral conductor.
